Tips for logistics staff
Tips and tricks from the hey circle team on how to assemble, fold and dispatch reusable shipping packaging quickly and safely.
1. Zipper for hey circle box
The ‘new’ hey circle boxes - namely the grey ones - have a new durable spiral zip that runs from right to left. Here is our tried and tested hack for the quickest way to close the zip:

If the zip gets stuck at the first corner while opening, simply reach into the box briefly at the short side.

2. Storing the boxes
The robust boxes can be folded and thus stored stacked.
The advantage of a closed zip: When the all-round zip is closed, the boxes are only 4.5 to 5 cm thick.
Advantage of an open zip: If the all-round zip remains open, they can be assembled more quickly.

3. Setting up the boxes
The S, M, L and XL boxes have the same folding mechanism. Open the zip and just hold it by the lid - and the side panels fall into position and the box folds up almost automatically. All you need to do is press the Velcro tight. The XXL box works in almost exactly the same way, but the Velcro goes round the corner for greater resilience.
